Latin Name : Ulmus Spp

Heartwood is dull to reddish brown with a yellowish white clearly defined sapwood.  Coarse textured with a wild to straight grain, given careful drying and machining an excellent finish  can be obtained.





Uses Specification
Cabinet  Making, interior joinery, flooring, boat building and marine work.
Imperial measure
Air or kiln dried, available in thicknesses of 1"-4", with boards and planks sawn through and through/one square edge, in lengths of 8' and longer and widths of 6" and wider.
