Brazilian Mahogany
Latin Name : Swietenia Macrophylla
CITES listed but available with CITES trade. Colour varies from reddish brown to deep reddish brown. Medium textured, the grain is straight to interlocked. Works easily if tools are kept sharp and polishes to a fine finish. Available in wide boards (450mm & up). Suitable for exterior woodwork. Certificates from time to time.
