Softwood WoodEx®

Back to Products

WoodEx® is a premium quality engineered wood with exceptional stability and a consistent appearance without the defects associated with traditional timber.

Created to offer a solution to challenges typically associated with joinery work, WoodEx® is made by bonding together selected timber components to form one, solid section – the result is an exceptionally stable product with minimal bowing or warping, an ideal surface for painting or staining.

Benefits

  • Greater dimensional stability, meaning minimal bowing or warping
  • Comes with two high-quality, clear faces so perfect for statement pieces such as staircases
  • A consistent appearance, resulting in a better yield and less wastage
  • Easy to handle, coming in convenient sizes that require less trimming
  • Ideal for painting and staining
  • Known costs on each component
  • Suitable for internal and external joinery projects (dependent upon species chosen)

Softwood WoodEx® is available in the following species:

Ex Stock - European Redwood, Teada Pine and Radiata Pine
