Compliance Co-ordinator - UK Based

We have a vacancy for a Supply chain co-ordinator / Compliance Associate to work in our highly respected timber distribution business.

Formed in 1753, James Latham have long been at the forefront of sustainable timber import and distribution, and as climate change and environmental compliance get pushed higher up the agenda, were looking to expand our team to ensure we stay at the top of the tree!

The role is varied, but will include:           

  • Environmental risk assessments of supply chain lines

  • Developing processes for new regulatory requirements applicable to supply chain, product, packing etc.

  • Assisting in technical product assessment

  • Improvement and maintaining existing processes within company

  • Maintaining Chain of Custody and ISO systems

  • Small project responsibility

  • Data maintenance and management

  • Supply chain procedures.


Still interested?

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Be educated to minimum A level standard (or equivalent)

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Understanding of the importance of process

  • An understanding of Chain of Custody and ISO

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self motivated /team player


The role will be office based in Brasted, Kent, with additional travel around our 12 UK & Ireland sites, as well as Europe and occasionally further afield. Further details of package available upon application.
