James Latham Leicester - Panels Sales Executive, Hybrid


James Latham, the leading timber and panel product distributor, currently have an exciting opportunity for a Panel Sales Executive - Hybrid to join our established team at our Leicester depot.

We are a family-based business with our history going back to 1757.

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in the following:

  • Proactive selling of panel products to our existing and new customers, via office work and customer visits.

  • Be able to fully utilise all available technology, including digital platforms, to interact with our customer base.

  • Expansion of our presence in the market for value-added products.

  • Conduct price negotiations with clients on behalf of the Company to reach a profitable conclusion.

  • Report on progress through the company’s reporting structure.

  • Develop and implement strategies for achieving and exceeding set sales targets.

  • Ensure adherence to general business and Company policies when conducting sales.

We will offer further career development with potential opportunities to visit our suppliers. We have a strong training ethos, which over time the ideal candidate would be part of.

The role will require the successful candidate to assist in the day to day selling of panel products, ensure they achieves sales and margin targets, liaise with suppliers, manage stock and achieve specified key performance indicators.
