Announcement - Launch of Lumin TRP

As of January 2017, the LUMIN plywood flagship product Overlay is being rebranded as LUMIN TRP (Tropical Replacement Plywood).
 
Over the past few years, we have recognized that there is a market need for a structural tropical-replacement plywood for applications where a thicker face veneer is a key requirement.   
 
Combined with market-leading certification (PEFC and CE2+), and with robust environmental and sustainability credentials, the main features of TRP include:
 
TRP is an excellent substitute for Tropical plywood in most applications. TRP faces are >3mm thick, whereas typical “tropical” plywood has faces of less than 0.5mm. 

Plantation grown and sustainable, “eucalyptus grandis” has a distinctive pink/red colour similar to many exotic hardwood species that are no longer available or scarce commercially.

Available in 12mm, 15mm and 18mm, LUMIN TRP has a clear hardwood “B” face. 120 grit sanded.  The “reverse face” of the panels are unrepaired and 100 grit sanded.

Protective biodegradable and distinctive blue colored plastic packaging and corner protection.
