Melamine finish can be cleaned in the same way as conventional laminates. Do not use polishes or waxes on any finished REALWOOD surface. It will withstand moderate heat, but very hot objects (hot pans, casserole dishes etc) should not be placed directly on the surface, in the same way that you would treat a standard paper laminate.
REALWOOD - Unfinished product should be finished as a standard veneer panel and thereafter should be treated in the same manner as veneered furniture.
CONDITIONING - Prior to bonding, the REALWOOD sheets, substrates and backing laminates should be stored together in conditions similar to the anticipated end environment for a period of at least 48 hours.
FABRICATION - Since REALWOOD derives from a natural timber product, it characteristically displays variations in grain and marking and is subject to colour change due to ageing and exposure to natural light. Exact matches between individual sheets cannot be guaranteed. If matching sheets are required please ask your distributor or discuss this direct with WOODLAM who will arrange matching sheets as close as nature will permit. Before final use of the product, please check that the colour and graining meets your requirements. Liability cannot be accepted for the product once it has been fabricated.
