Industrial Application Example.

RockPly® is particularly suited to HGV trailer floors, offering a notable weight reduction without compromising performance. Based on a large HGV trailer RockPly® offers the following:-

•  Unmatched Strength: With its patented technology combining rock fibres with birch veneers, RockPly® offers twice the strength of standard plywood, enhancing dimensional stability while reducing material weight by up to 250 kg per application.
•  Cost Efficiency: Each trailer equipped with a RockPly® floor reduces fuel consumption, saving up to £4,000 over five years. Additionally, increased payload capacity by 250 kg per trailer can generate annual savings of £850 to £1,700 per vehicle, ensuring a return on investment within six to twelve months for fleet operators.
• Sustainability at its Core: RockPly® reduces CO2 emissions by approximately 50 to 75 kg per trailer annually. Manufactured from responsibly sourced wood, RockPly® provides a CO2 saving equivalent to the annual absorption of 200 to 300 trees for a fleet of 100 trailers.
