Finsa’s Fibrapan Hidrofugo and Hidrofugo Plus are Moisture Resistant MDF panels made of selected wood fibres (MDF). Recommended for use in moist environments.

As it is moisture resistant it can be used in general carpentry and joinery. It’s great for applications such as kitchen and bathroom furniture, skirting boards, door frames, mouldings and interior decoration.

It gives beautiful, crisp edges when machined and is very stable. The denser board provides a fantastic surface for finishes and coatings.

The board has high dimensional stability, low swelling and absorption and excellent machining quality.

Fibrapan Hidrofugo Plus has an even greater density than standard Fibrapan Hidrofugo. This makes the board 25% stronger, ideal for more demanding machining requirements and applications. Fibrapan Hidrofugo Plus also has a stronger internal bond allowing for even less grain raise, sanding and paint when working with the board.

Fibrapan Hidrofugo Plus uses the same unique Steam Injection Process (SIPs) as Fibrapan Hidrofugo which gives it the recognisable face finish and unrivalled core qualities you cannot get through standard MDF press technology. This, along with the increased density, gives the board enhanced machining capabilities for an even crisper edge and finer detail when routing and moulding.
